Hi, I'm Hei Ting (also known as Alexa), an illustrator and visual designer based in London, UK.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Social Work in Hong Kong before moving to the UK to pursue a Master's degree in Illustration. My journey has given me a unique perspective: combining empathy, curiosity, and creativity to communicate ideas in thoughtful and engaging ways.
I enjoy working across both traditional and digital media, including watercolour, gouache, oil painting, and digital illustration. Whether creating editorial illustrations, branding assets, or personal artwork, I aim to produce work that is visually distinctive while telling meaningful stories. My work is playful, thoughtful, and rooted in everyday moments that feel honest and human.
Alongside illustration, I have experience in graphic design and enjoy bringing ideas to life through clean, considered visual communication. I value attention to detail, strong collaboration, and creating work that not only looks beautiful but also serves its purpose effectively.
When I am not creating, you will find me weightlifting, searching for a great place to eat, or at home cuddling my cat Billie.
